This site is the author website for K. J. GRISON. It publishes information about the novels and links to Amazon product pages.

The site does not require an account. Purchase and account data, if you buy a book, are handled by Amazon under Amazon's own privacy policy.

If you join the mailing list, we collect the email address you submit in order to send occasional notes about new releases, cover reveals, and other book news. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in any mailing or by contacting us. Addresses are not sold.

If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email, topic, and message you provide in order to reply. Those messages are not used for advertising.

If you report an error in a published book or on this site, we collect the name, email, book, edition, location, and description you provide in order to review the report.

Mailing-list addresses and form submissions are stored in a private PostgreSQL database used for this site. They are not sold.

In production, the site records first-party page views, book and catalog views, selected navigation and sharing actions, and outgoing retailer clicks. These events can include the campaign source, referring website's hostname, device category and a random, anonymous ID held in the browser tab's session storage. This ID is not a login or an identifier shared across devices. These records do not include names, email addresses, form contents, IP addresses, full referring URLs, or private query parameters. Events are used to understand reading and campaign activity, not advertising profiles.

Production pages also load Google Analytics to measure visits and the same conversion events. Google may set its own cookies. Analytics is not used for advertising on this site, and form contents are not sent to Google.

The web server and reverse proxy keep ordinary access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, and time) for security and operations.

Book purchase buttons first pass through a first-party Grison Press tracking link. It records the author website, book and edition clicked, then redirects you to the configured Amazon page (which may use Amazon Attribution). Social media and Reddit links may also use a first-party Grison Press redirect to measure outbound clicks. These redirects do not include your name, email address, or private book-access token. See the Grison Press privacy policy for publisher-site measurement details. Amazon and the social platforms may set their own cookies after you leave our websites.
